REVISION TO PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT ON THE OGE FORM 450 OGE updated the OGE/GOVT-2 system of records notice (covering Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports). As a result, OGE added the three routine uses listed below to the six previously listed in the Privacy Act Statement on page 3 of the form instructions. The 09/02 edition date remains unchanged. The OGE Form 450 is available through the Forms, Publications and Other Ethics Documents section of OGE's Web site. http://www.usoge.gov/pages/forms_pubs_otherdocs/forms_pubs_other_pg3.html Additional routine uses: (7) to reviewing officials in a new office, department or agency when an employee transfers from one covered position to another; (8) to a Member of Congress or a congressional office in response to an inquiry made on behalf of an individual who is the subject of the record; and (9) to contractors and other non-Government employees working for the Federal Government to accomplish a function related to an OGE Government-wide system of records. 2. ETHICS PROGRAM REVIEW NEWS OGE recently issued reports of ethics program reviews conducted at the Corporation for National and Community Service (Corporation) and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Under the leadership of Britanya Rapp, the Designated Agency Ethics Official (DAEO), the Corporation has a model ethics program that extends beyond the minimum requirements in all program areas. NCUA's ethics program, under the leadership of DAEO James Engel, is a program that is particularly focused on preventing employee ethics violations by virtue of its effective ethics training, advice and counseling, and enforcement process. OGE recently began a review at the Environmental Protection Agency. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Back to: Top of message <#TOP> | Previous page | Main OGE-ETHICSINFO-L page ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Back to the LISTSERV home page at LISTSERV.ACCESS.GPO.GOV.
