Glynn, Acting Director, to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. The statement provides guidance of general interest to ethics officials concerning OGE's gift rule, 5 C.F.R. § 2635.204(d), as well as various rules applicable to outside consulting activities. The DAEOgram also addresses the responsibility of employees and ethics officials with respect to "appearance" concerns.
