Sean Connery's Trial and Reforming

I think I'll use this blog to record dreams that I have, since it's an interesting idea.

Some old guy that looks vaguely like Sean Connery and who is attired like Connery was in Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, who at the time I know is affiliated with Christianity in some way, like he's a priest or something, is in the family room of the house I lived in about 5 years ago. There's a number of chairs scattered about, and I guess it's a trial of some kind. Something or other transpires, and it follows that he will be burned at the stake (in the fireplace, with no stake). So he's resigned to his fate at this point, and he says something along the lines of "Let's get on with it." So I am lowering him into the fireplace when I say, "Remember what happened to St. John. He killed himself because he killed himself." Sean Connery's face lights up with recognition and he replies, "If I come out of that fireplace I'll be a changed man." He squats down next to the fire, so it doesn't actually kill him but probably burns him, and I close the glass fireplace door thing.

Right before I wake up, I realize that this is a dream, and I am suddenly captivated with the idea of turning this into a mystery novel a la Dan Brown. Then I wake up and realize that it would make a pretty lame novel, but that nonsensical quote about St. John killing himself (who was St. John anyway) stays in my head for a while after I wake up (I'm still in a sleepy fog, so I think it is somehow profound).

And that is today's dream entry thingy. Have fun interpreting it, and post your comments.

I love that. I want to hear more about this. Why do you want to kill Sean Connery?! Are you secretly a Moore fan?!
